• Injuries leading to chronic conditions, which despite surgical treatment disability remains – up to £61,140
• Injuries that involve nerve root damage with associated loss of sensation, impaired mobility, impaired bladder and bowel function, sexual difficulties and unsightly scarring – up to £77,540
• Injuries involving damage to the spinal cord and nerve roots leading to a combination of very serious consequences including severe pain and disability – up to £141,150
