Is Your Will at Browell Smith & Co?

Guiding you through the process

If you are the executor of an estate where the person who wrote the will has died and we hold the original will, you will require the original document to deal with the administration of the estate.

At Browell Smith & Co we offer a free meeting with the executors to read the will. All executors will need to be present and we will need:

  • A certified copy of the death certificate
  • Both photographic ID and proof of address for each of the executors

Whilst the person who wrote the will is still alive we cannot release the will to the executors or any other party.

At Browell Smith & Co we also offer the following services:

If you are considering changing your will, Browell Smith & Co offers a no obligation will review as it is important that your will reflects your current personal circumstances which may have changed. Additionally, the law develops all the time, so we would always suggest that you review your will with us every five years.

Contact our expert team today to arrange a free initial consultation at any of our offices, in Newcastle, Cramlington, Ashington, and Sunderland, or alternatively at your home, to discuss your particular requirements.
