Clerk – Wills and Probate

We are seeking a Legal Clerk to join our team. As a Legal Clerk, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to our private clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and reputable law firm.


  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills and powers of attorney
  • Assist clients with the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate or letters of administration
  • Handle the preparation and submission of inheritance tax returns
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases
  • Attend client meetings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly


  • Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate laws and regulations
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
