Compensation for neck injuries will depend on the nature and severity of the injury and the period of recovery. For moderate neck injuries, please see below for a rough guide on what may be rewarded:

• Soft tissue injuries with a protracted recovery. Acceleration or exacerbation of a pre-existing condition over a period of less than five years – up to £12,050
• Injuries resulting in serious limitation or movement, permanent or recurring pain and the possible need for further surgery – up to £21,910
• Neck fractures or dislocations leaving markedly impaired function – up to £33,750
