Shortly after joining Browell Smith & Co I became a Paralegal within the Noise Induced Hearing Loss Department acting on behalf of union clients throughout the country. The role included supervisory responsibilities and eventually I became the sole fee earner within the Department.
In September 2004 I joined the General Personal Injury Litigation Department working in all aspects of general Personal Injury. Whilst working full time within the department I elected to qualify as a lawyer through the ILEX route of qualification via correspondence.
I completed the ILEX Course at the end of 2009 . I was admitted as a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives a few months later in May 2010 after ILEX agreed to waive the usual two year post qualification employment requirement by virtue of my extensive litigation experience which commenced in 1998.
As the firm continues to move into new areas of Personal Injury law I enjoy expanding my knowledge
• Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law/ Level 6 Professional Diploma in Law
• A Fellow of the Chartered Institute Of Legal Executives
I enjoy film, football and retro videogames. The majority of my time outside of work is spent with my wife engaging in voluntary work within the community.
